Novation Synth Campaign Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (the "Rules") apply to the Novation Synth Campaign (the "Competition"). By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules.

The Competition is organised by Focusrite Audio Engineering Limited incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 02357989 whose registered office is at Windsor House, Turnpike Road, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire HP12 3FX (“Focusrite and Novation”).

To enter the Competition for a chance to win the prize you must answer the prize question correctly.

To receive the prize question you must purchase then register one of the following Novation synthesisers:

  • UltraNova, MiniNova, or Bass Station II (Qualifying Products).

A Qualifying Product must be purchased between 15 November 2014 and 15 January 2015.

Once you have purchased and registered a Qualifying Product you will be sent the prize question by email. If you answer, and once you submit, the prize question correctly your name together with which Qualifying Product you purchased will be entered into the prize draw.

Only one Qualifying Product may be purchased and registered per entry. If more than one Qualifying Product is purchased the Competition may be entered again but the Competition may not be entered multiple using the same Qualifying Product for registration.

Out of the eligible entries a winner will be picked at random. The draw will take place on 27 January 2015 with the winner announced shortly after. There is one prize. The prize shall be the two Qualifying Products not purchased and registered as part of the winning entry.

Entrants may only enter the Competition once and must be resident in a Participating Territory, as defined below, to be eligible for a prize. The Competition is void in all non-Participating Territories.

The Competition is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Participating Territory is defined as any territory with a Novation distributor within the following regions and territories: Europe, Middle East, Russia and Africa but excluding America and Asia-Pacific.

No prizes can be redeemed for cash. All winners will be advertised on our social feeds (Facebook, Twitter, Google +).

By claiming a prize, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. Focusrite and Novation reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.

The email address you provide on the Competition entry form will be used to contact you in the event that you win so please make sure this is correct. If you are a prize winner then Focusrite and Novation may require you to prove your identity including a proof of your address. Examples of identification documents would include, passport, driving licence and utility bills.

By entering the Competition (and you warrant that) you are aged 18 or over and that you are not an employee (or a family member of an employee) of Focusrite, Novation or any company (including any subsidiaries) involved in operating or sponsoring the Competition or awarding any prizes.

Focusrite and Novation reserve the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the Rules.

The Competition starts at 09.00 GMT on 15 November 2014

The Competition ends at 16.00 GMT on 26 January 2015

Failure to claim a prize by 10 February 2015 may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Focusrite and Novation reserve the right to substitute prizes for prizes of equal or greater value at any time.

Focusrite and Novation cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any prize. Focusrite and Novation is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination of these, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Competition. Nothing shall exclude Focusrite and Novation's liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and Focusrite and Novation reserves the right to use the names of winners, any equipment the winner may use, their photographs in publicity related to the Competition.

Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and subject to these Rules will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual's prior consent. Please see Focusrite or Novation's privacy policy for further details. Data relating to entrants will be retained by Focusrite or Novation for a reasonable period after the Competition closes to assist Focusrite or Novation to operate competitions in a consistent manner and to deal with any queries on the Competition as well as sending information about Focusrite and Novation's products to entrants.

In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to a Competition, the decision of Focusrite and Novation shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

Focusrite and Novation reserve the right to cancel or amend the Competition or the Rules without notice. Any changes will be amended to these terms and conditions.

The Competition and Rules will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. Focusrite and Novation make no representation that materials relating to this Competition are appropriate or available for use at all locations and it is your responsibility to ensure that by entering the Competition is illegal or strictly prohibited by the laws of the country you are in.
